We are an association of Southern Baptist churches in Smith County MS. This association allows us to do more together than we can do alone. Our churches, while autonomous in church polity, have agreed to the Baptist Faith & Message. It is statement of faith that reveals what we believe about God, the Bible, Sin, Mankind, Redemption, Judgement and Eternity, to name a few.
Together we attempt to obey the commands of our Lord to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” (Matthew 28:19–20, HCSB)
Smith County is a wonderful place to live and there are many of our Southern Baptist churches that are wonderful places where you can worship and serve.
